Allegheny County residents of the 39th Legislative District are invited to a Concealed Carry Permit Event I am hosting in conjunction with Allegheny County Sheriff Kevin Kraus.
Applicants need to bring a valid Pennsylvania identification card or driver’s license, a completed application, and $20 cash. Applications are available
here or from my district office.
The sheriff’s office will also have Project D.U.M.P. on-site to take expired and unused medications. Glass bottles, liquids, syringes, inhalers/insulin or creams will not be accepted.

Protect yourself from identity theft by bringing discarded documents containing sensitive personal information to our free, on-site shredding event. There is a limit of three bags or boxes per household. No businesses, please.
Examples of items you may want to bring include bank and credit card statements, tax documents, insurance claim forms and anything that lists a Social Security number. Staples, paper clips and manila folders are acceptable. X-rays and hanging folders are prohibited.
Non-perishable foods will also be collected for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Banks, and a prescription drug take-back box will be available.
